made by hand in los angeles
every reya piece is strung by hand in los angeles, one at a time. the beads are chosen piece by piece, so very few come out the same. once one is gone, it’s gone.
being from lebanon and loving the mediterranean have had a major influence on each piece. the evil eyes and fish are a nod to both.
before it was a shop, it was years of bead shopping in houston. every school break, visiting our family, and sitting at the table with my sister-in-law sofi and my nieces francesca and amelie, making bracelets and anklets. summers spent at what we playfully called the factory, a kitchen table with all of us around it creating our own ‘specials’.
phone chains and water bottle charms were the next evolution. this small store was born with support from the family to grow this hobby into a business.
the line runs on three charms: the evil eye, the fish, the flower. old shapes, meant to be carried. i make them to be worn every day, on the thing you already never put down. hope you enjoy them as much as i do.
thanks for visiting.

the details
care
keep perfume, lotion and sunscreen off the beads, take it off before you swim, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
strung on wire
wire, not elastic or cord. it holds its shape and won’t stretch out or fray over time.
60-day free repair
if a strand gives or a charm comes loose in the first 60 days, email contact@reyaandthefish.com and i’ll repair it at no cost.
how to wear it
a side-mount adapter sits between your phone and its case, and the charm clips on at the side. the same clip moves it to a bag.
